Purchasing Products

The customer places an order by selecting the desired products into the service’s shopping cart. Before placing a binding order, you will be presented with a summary of the shopping cart’s contents, including the products you ordered and prices with delivery costs.

After reviewing the contents of your shopping cart, you can place a binding order by confirming it according to the instructions provided on the website. A binding order is created when you submit the order to the online store and the online store has confirmed your order in the service and via email.

Products will be delivered to you once the online store has confirmed the order in writing and you have completed the payment according to the payment terms.

We manufacture some products to order, and the delivery time is approximately 7 business days. Glass and candle products may occasionally have a slightly longer delivery time if the product is temporarily out of stock and we are making more. Your ordered products will be delivered to the address you provided or to the nearest post office, Smartpost locker, or Matkahuolto delivery point. You can also pick up the product from our store at Iniöntie 411 C, 23360 Kustavi. Pick-up can be done during store opening hours, or by contacting us by phone or email. You can select pick-up in the shopping cart.

Product exchanges and returns:

You have a 14-day return policy.

We charge shipping costs for returns; however, if the product is faulty, the return is free of charge. Please contact us in case of a complaint (if you are returning a defective product). Of course, you can return the product free of charge by bringing it to our store.

For returns, please fill in the order number, product details of the item you are returning, and your contact information for a possible refund. Let us know if you prefer a replacement product or a refund. In case of returns, the refund will be made to the payment method used for the order.

For parcel deliveries, you can send the returned product in its original packaging. Please use the packing slip included in the package to mark the products being returned, and we kindly ask you to also indicate the reason for the return.

For returns, you will need our Posti contract ID. Please contact us, and we will send you the ID and information for the return. The return postage fee will be deducted from the refunded amount!

Once we receive the product, we will process your refund. The returned product must be unused and in its original packaging. Please remember to return all parts of the product.

Please note that the return policy is the same regardless of the payment method.

Please note that Posti stores packages for 7 days, after which the package is returned to the sender. We charge shipping costs for uncollected packages. If we resend the product, this will be treated as a new order.

Checkout is a secure payment method for you. We have a payment institution license granted by the Financial Supervisory Authority. The service is maintained by Checkout Finland Oy (business ID 2196606-6), and Checkout Finland Oy is part of the OP Group.

The Checkout payment intermediation service forwards your payment to the merchant. If Checkout Finland Oy appears on your bank statement or credit card bill, we have forwarded your payment.

The online store acts as a marketer of products and services and as a supplier of products to the customer. The online store is responsible for statutory obligations related to the transaction, as well as other obligations it defines. If you wish to make a complaint or return a product, you should contact the online store directly from which the product was ordered.

Bank Payments

Payment buttons for all Finnish banks are available to you. You can pay with Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-Pankki, and Ålandsbanken payment buttons. Checkout Finland Oy will appear as the payee on your bank statement; we will forward your payment to the online merchant. From the online store, you will be directed directly to your own bank to complete the payment securely.

Credit Card Payments

You can pay in the online store with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard, and American Express cards. The online store uses the international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, and American Express SafeKey authentication services. Checkout will appear as the payee on your card statement and will forward the customer’s payment card transaction directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a protected payment form, and payment card details are not stored in the online store’s systems.

Mobile Payment Methods

Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay, and Siirto are in-app services that allow online purchases to be paid as a bank transfer from an account or as a card payment from a card by approving the payment in the respective app. Pivo also supports Siirto payments, allowing payment to be approved in any Siirto-supporting app. Apple Pay is a service that operates on Apple devices, allowing purchases to be paid from a payment card linked to the device.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you register as a customer, we ask for your first and last names, address, and email address.

When you use the service, our system stores some of your activities in the database. We store, among other things, orders and order history, wish lists, product reviews, and communication within our service.

Privacy Policy

Information is obtained from registered users. The collected data will not be disclosed to third parties outside the online service, nor outside the EU. However, the service provider may disclose customer data to authorities within the limits permitted and mandated by applicable law. If there are rearrangements in the company’s ownership, we may disclose data to new parties.

The service has built-in strict access control that prevents unauthorized access to the service and other users’ data. The register is used only by individuals whose job description includes its use. Each user of the register has a personal username and password. Users are bound by a duty of confidentiality. No paper printouts of the register are kept.

The service uses various social media components that allow users to transfer information to different social media platforms. We recommend reviewing the privacy statement of the respective service provider.

Use of Cookies

The online store uses cookies to improve service quality. Browsing pages without cookies may affect the service’s functionality, preventing some features from being used (such as logging in and adding products to the shopping cart).
