Beeswax as an ingredient: The balm uses the best and most valuable capping wax from our neighbor Jussi, or more officially, Kustavi honey. Capping wax is the wax bees use to cover the nectar they collect. Capping wax is always new, freshly produced wax. The beeswax used in the balm contains abundant antioxidants. It protects lips from drying out, binds moisture, and makes the skin of the lips supple and soft.
Sunflower oil as an ingredient: Sunflower oil helps repair chapped lips and their delicate skin. It soothes and softens the skin. Sunflower oil is rich in nutrients and antioxidants, such as vitamin E, which is a very effective antioxidant. Vitamin E directly affects collagen in the skin, which helps the skin stay more elastic for longer. Other vitamins in sunflower oil (vitamins A, C, and D) help lips retain their moisture.
Shea butter as an ingredient: Effective moisturization for your lips is provided by the shea butter contained in the lip balm, which includes vitamins A and E, natural UV protection (SPF6), and fatty acids (palmitic, stearic, and linoleic acid).
Argan oil as an ingredient: Argan oil has become one of the most interesting ingredients in cosmetics, thanks to its wonderful and versatile properties. Argan oil moisturizes, firms, helps skin regenerate, and naturally reduces sun damage. Argan oil contains many beneficial fatty acids that help the skin stay moisturized and plump-looking.
